The ExpressLIGHT platform is commonly utilized for the transport of mission-critical data in applications that have performance requirements in terms of delay and reliability. A few examples of these traditional applications are leased lines, transportation systems, surveillance systems and corporate network extensions.

A variety of E1, T1, SDH and SONET interfaces provides the modularity required for deployment in a multi-service network. The interfaces are easily installed and comply with international standards (ITU, IETF, IEEE, …) and offer excellent interoperability with existing networks.
