ExpressSTREAM XE-1200
The ExpressSTREAM XE-12xx series of high density fiber
Ethernet In The First Mile (EFM) switches are ideal for bandwidth & service
distribution in FTTP applications. Inexpensive off-the-shelf SFP (Small
Form Pluggable) transceivers provide pay-as-you-go expansion. SFP transceiver
selection also provides interface flexibility with single mode fiber, multi-mode
fiber and BaseT copper transceivers.
Interoperability & Connectivity
The ExpressSTREAM interoperates with millions
of deployed Ethernet devices using CAT-5 10/100BaseT or 100 Mbps fiber
connections. It accommodates bandwidth-hungry applications such as photo
albums, streaming music, and HDTV over IP reception. When optics are used,
long reach connectivity can be attached to remote terminals, DSLAMS and
corporate data centers.
